I'm going to two games coming up in a few months, the Spurs @ Rockets (Mar 12th) and Spurs vs. Jazz (Apr 9th). Last time I went to a game, I had my Tim MVP poster that I've linked below. Unfortunately, I was sitting on the same side as the cameras, so I never made it on TV. This time, I know the seats I have at the Spurs @ Rockets game will be behind the visitors bench. I'm going to have this poster made, but I haven't decided on which colors I'll use. What would you go with? They're typically done 18"x24" on poster board.

I had them like that and one of my coworkers was like WTF is Anu? Hah ... I'll put some like that, and the wife just said put MVP like the Tim poster. I'll do a few more after some quick games of BO.

I went with the fiesta colors for a reason. 1) I've been a Spurs fan a long time, and that's how I remember our logo, 2) the posters require 4 unique colors - I attempted it using black, silver, white and basketball orange and that didn't work.

I highly considered getting my Robinson shooting jacket cleaned and wearing that to the game, as it'd go perfectly with the poster.

Fiesta colors are really not a good choice. I'd seriously consider changing it.

I like the first the best, though I might make the letters 'anu' smaller so the MVP really stands out in the poster.

I agree there's not really a good way to do Spurs-oriented colors. If you're dead-set on doing it, then the way you did it is probably the best. Given the style, I say play it straight. I played around with different colors on my avatar pic, and nothing else worked.
