Missed layup after layup... it was a horrible game to watch, tbh... Philly were their inept selves, and we couldn't capitalize...

No it wasn't. It was a middle of the season, up 6 games on your nearest conference contender, in a cold ing gym game.
Embarrassment would be the 27th loss in a row, or Tim punching someone in the nuts, or Tony popping his jersey after a lay in. Those are embarrassing things to see. Losing a close one when you couldn't throw the ball into the ocean isn't at all embarrassing. Last time they shot like that this year was against the Clippers, and look how they responded.
These things galvanize teams. They have to be reminded that shoot around is serious, and that they have a long way to go to get where they want to be. Nothing is guaranteed, even with the best record in the league.
Iguodola was a beast defensively as usual. His defensive plus/minus numbers have been off the charts for years.
