this isnt "news". the deal has been in place for months, melo doesnt want to go to the Nets , that's why it hasnt happened .
I can't see Melo agreeing on the extension when the team he really wants to play for has the ability to sign him outright just a few months from now.

theres already an article written on mark cuban waiting for this day lol! it says mark cuban has been wating all along for the agreement to be reached between the nets or knicks and nuggets so he can fly up there to block the trade!!!!!!!!! so we'll wait and see if its true or not.
