When Bryant was asked how he feels about being an elder statesman he simply laughed. ‘It doesn’t matter to me,’ he said. ‘You can’t beat me in June. All the other stuff doesn’t matter.’”

If Kobe 3-peats again, he'll probably go down as a top 10 player ever. He's the best player in the league.... still, and by far. He reminds us nearly every year, but only when it really counts. Black Mamba is legendary...... a joy to watch him when he's determined to win (unless it's against the Mavs).
