Rasheed Wallace may be considering a comeback to the Celtics, according to sources.

Boston has a need for a big man following their trade of Kendrick Perkins for Jeff Green on Thursday.

Sources say Wallace would contemplate resuming his NBA career if a roster spot on the Celtics opened up.

At least he won't be backed by Perkins, and vice versa.

Exactly. Without Perkins--Wallace was a sitting duck for us. We exhausted him knowing we didn't have to worry about Perkins. It was the perfect scenario for us.

And Wallace ing knew it when it went down.

Yup. Wallace fought bravely, and played as good as can be expected of him at that age. He even went into the post in Game 7! But time betrays us all.

You called what Wallace did for the Celtics brave? I call it a waste of old talent that hung out on the 3-point line.
