Why did we not try to get OJ Mayo?....Memphis was trying to give him away for a Bag of Skittles....That's someone you don't pass on when they are trying to give him away....IMO..I heard they were trying to give him up for Josh McRoberts and like a Draft Pick....

Look at OJ Mayo's numbers this year when he's been asked to come off the bench (which would be his role here). Now, look at George Hill's numbers. He's Hill's size, minus the condor wingspan and motivation to play defense. He scores about a point a game more, yet has taken 120 more shots.
Trust me: he isn't that great, and if they were truly trying to just give him away, the Lakers would have him right now.
Manu Ginobili, George Hill, Gary Neal, James Anderson
All of those guys play the same position as OJ Mayo, we didn't need him.
