He's a poor man's Kosta Koufas according to the draft sites, but remember Koufas has always underachieved since he's been brought in the league and even he wouldn't be terrible with #60. It's actually a great pick to have imo, no standards.

At last year's draft combine there was a discussion with some scouts about guys not there. Shermandini's name came up and one scout scoffed at his supposed birthdate. FWIW: No one thinks one time fan fascination Viktor Sanikidze is as young as reported either.

He looks like big clumsy player, but is actually quite nimble and pretty good with the ball for a big guy. He has a soft touch and shoots the free throws pretty good. He doesn't use his size and strength as well as he should and his post moves need much work. He's under contract with Panathinaikos (he was on a loan in Ljubljana this season), so definitely a draft and stash player.
