Well, this part of the trade has not worked out for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Nate Robinson will be out at least a month after getting his knee scoped, according to Royce Young at Daily Thunder (via twitter). This is the first surgery of Robinson’s career.
He’s out four to six weeks, which would bring him back a little bit before the playoffs start.
Robinson came to the Thunder from the Boston Celtics as part of the Kendrick Perkins/Jeff Green swap. Robinson was going to provide a little more depth at the point, along with Russell Westbrook and Eric Maynor. He brings a scoring punch — when he’s hitting — that can energize a team and help steal some games.
Go ahead and ask if the Celtics knew about this before the trade if you want, it’s kind of moot. First, this seemed to come out of the blue. But really, Robinson was a throw in, Perkins was the goal and target. And they knew he was injured.

LOL Mad Dog & Midget rotting on the bench in suits.
I'm in the room, its a typical Tuesday night I'm listening to the kind of music she doesnt like and she'll never know your story like I do
OK, the OKC which looked like a steal is looking worse and worse. No wonder C's were so quick to unload Perk and Robinson. How come passing the physical wasn't a requirement for the trade to go through?
are the okc doctors on vacation or something?
These are the same guys that rejected Tyson Chandler.
Holy , both Perkins and Nate are injured and in OKC
They must be bored out of their minds
Well Ainge ... is coming out spades ...so far. but if they dont ring it won't matter ...
Damn OKC is starting to turn into the new Portland.... Perkins is gone for a couple more weeks, Nate is gone for a month or longer, and Durant got hurt the other night as well....
