Is there anyone on a possible buyout option or someone in the D-League that can help us? I think this is reason #1 why we do not have a chance in the playoffs against the Lakers. Giving the Lakers 3-4 chances every possession to score one basket will never equate to a win. For as much improvement as Blair has made to his game, he is not a legitimate starting PF...just too damn small to box out a serious front line.

Anyone with half a brain could have known this b4 the season...that the Spurs cannot match up against the Lakers in the post. No one that isn't already on an NBA roster could possibly help the Spurs in this category. It's too late.

I guess the Spurs actually took a look at the roster, analyzed the situation, and came to the conclusion that what they have...6'5" Blair, old ass 2-inch vertical Duncan, Dice, and CROFL Bonner were going to be plenty in order to pass the Lakers.

Or they simply believed they would never encounter the Lakers en route to their ultimate goal, a championship. Either situation, they were ING RE ED.
