    1. The Spurs are still number 1 in the NBA.
    2. The Lakers are still 6 1/2 games back and realistically have no shot at catching us.
    3. One loss to the Lakers by 30-something points counts the same in the standings as any other loss.
    4. Nights like these happen in the NBA. Sometimes all your opponent's shots go down and sometimes all yours don't. We saw it happen the other day against Miami and now we're on the wrong end of it. It happens.
    5. The Lakers and Mavericks will play each other in the 2nd round. We may not even have to face them in the playoffs.

    The 1995-96 Chicago Bulls lost a March 10th game at the Knicks 104-72, and they went 72-10.

    Over an 82 game season, even the best teams get blown out once or twice

    They even lost to the raptors, who were balls deep in the cellar back then.
