thanx...was waiting for this to see what pop thought of this effortless game....
"They played great and we didn't." - Tim Duncan.
That sums it up.
"They have size and we don't" - what Pop and everyone else wanted to say
That girl asked about it and Pop agreed that size was a factor.
Something else to be taken away from Tim's interview is that the Spurs are gettin a practice in tomorrow, with everyone healthy. Lookin back at the schedule, the last time they had more than one day between games and could possibly have practiced were the Monday and Tuesday after Allstar weekend.
Ideally the Spurs machine will look a little more well-oiled against Detroit, and keep it up the next few games including what should be a tough one in Miami before a 3-day break. Keeping with possible opportunities for a practice, the next 2 multiple-day rests will precede games against Dallas and Boston. Hopefully those elite teams will get the Spurs best punch, which is how you really are able to gauge what you've got this late in the season.
Pop's was the best per usual
TD seemed alright with the loss. He knows for damn sure they can beat the Lakers. Manu's postgame video seemed like he was a bit pissed/irritated by the fact that they lost so bad...
