MAG for the PS3?
Buddy plays it, loves it.
Depending on price (<45), Im sure its a fine purchase.
Being that I'm a generally cheap bas of a gamer I often go looking through the interwebs for some older but well reviewed games. Came across this le and thought I'd come here for some more opinions. All the reviews are saying enough of the same things that I think I've got an accurate enough picture of the overall gameplay but with one concern. Something that has come up a few times in the reviews are some gripes about balancing issues with one of the three factions you have to choose from. Found a few articles saying the developers have at least taken notice of the problem but I can't really find anything saying one way or another if they fixed it. Sounded like the sort of thing that if unchecked for a whole year could snowball into a real killer for a game that is 100% online compe ion modes. Just looking for any additional opinions, especially from anyone who has played it recently.

I think the strengths of the three factions balances out, depending on what map you are on. It's a fun game, with tons of customizing options. I played it for a while, but really don't play FPS games. I sold my copy a couple of weeks ago.
i might consider bc2 which you can get with all the dlc and maps for the same price or no more than 30 bucks.
Wait for Socom!! Only a month away.
BC2 is the finest FPS on the market today, IMO. Awesome game.
Bought MAG when it came out - unfortunately never had much time to play it. Think I my dude up to like level 7 or something weak like that. That said, it was alright - little different than COD... can't compare it to the other FPS's. I'm be interested to know if there are enough people online playing it still though since it is 100% online.
Just remembered that I started this thread. Thought I'd bump it just for the comedic gold of the fact that I got a copy of this on ebay for a mere $10.50 () a day before the PSN shutdown.
