250GB isn't as bad as the TW ones, but I went to UVerse because they didn't have them...

I could be mistaken, but I am pretty sure that other than their 4g service, that TW has no caps. They did go live with really low caps back on April 9, 2009 in four cities (SA being one of them) but ditched them on April 16, 2009 due to "customer misunderstanding."

I think they just pushed them off into the future - doubtless they will return. I', just gonna plead WFH to the retention department at UVerse and maybe they'll give me a deal. This sucks because my UVerse service is really good, especially the TV.

I you're referring to online gaming, you barely use anything. If you use your console to download/stream movies or episodes, that's different.

Oh, boy! Two questions for all my learned friends.
On UVerse, can you access to internet by using a Ethernet cable from the back of the DVR box to the TV or
do you need some kind of box in between.

And this cap they are talking about, how much
bandwidth do movies take, cause I was wanting to
    subscribe to Netflix.

I haven't gotten anything from ATT yet on any Caps.
But then they went up in price and I don't recall getting
    any notice about that.

The new TV, enroute, sony, has an Ethernet
    connection on it.

I think U-Verse gives you a router that you hook your TV and computer up to with ethernet cables. As for Netflix, here's an interesting thread I found about it:

    http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r221...at-HD-accurate

Dude measured SD usage as about 850 MB per hour and HD at about 1885 MB per hour, which would translate to about 294 hours if you did nothing but watch SD video on Netflix, or 132 hours if you did nothing but watch HD on Netflix.

Thanks BB. Yep, their gateway (router(?)) does have
internet connection, my computer is hooked to it and
so do the TV boxes. But some of the answer I googled,
most were very old, talked about having to route
everything through game boxes and such. Guess I
will just have to wait and try it out when it gets here.

But you answer the question about Netflix, also read
your link. Don't think that would be a concern for me.
Don't think we would watch that many movies...LOL.
