Chris should show us the way.
but debts have to be settled no matter what. When you get into a deal, you gotta man up and pay the other fellow the money that he deserves.
That said, you're full of Kool_Welcher and you gotta pay DPG right away![]()
Chris should show us the way.
welching on bets is low but unless you have Kori or someone mediate, you can't be shocked that an anonymous person on the internet wouldn't pay up. What's stopping him?
I would never consider betting money with anyone i didn't know on here
Let's have Chris strike the template.
It's funny, because had Kool won that bet, Culby here would be demanding for a just and fair payment with all available proof, and casting aspersions on anyone who said otherwise.![]()
Nobody stopped Chris.
& Chris would still get a pass.
my point exactly.
Giu-seepe-mother ing-e
1) we tried to get kori, but realized I was too late
2) it's not like I had my money in his account and he didn't have his out there
3) people bet w people they don't know on here, but unless the money is put in to someone like kori before hand you run the risk of getting koolaided.
It's not like I am out my own money and worst case Kool is done here so everyone can thank me.
Out of all of this, Lakaluva somehow ends up looking like an honorable person. Who woulda thunk it?
Still . . .
I don't get the whole "anonymously betting on messageboards" thing.
That said, unless you are actually part of the bet, I don't think you should about someone not honoring a bet with another person. It's their business and no one else's.
The lesson here is don't get involved if you can't honor it. I understand all the trolling and name-calling in here because that's simply what this message board is all about.
However, losing in a bet and telling everyone that you've already paid is something else entirely.
Pay up or you're out.
If you ran the board, that would be your rule to implement and your decision to enforce.
As it is, you ing about it means about as much as me saying stop ing about it or you're out... which is absolutely nothing.
The issue here is simple: don't bet with a guy who's most likely going to welch and run away. It's basically a warning to everyone.
tee, hee.
Kool couldn't pay anyways.
Considering that Kool acted like he was pulling seven figures, I think it's more than acceptable. Especially since he upped the amount on the bid himself, from $100 to $500.
Plus, it's Koolaid, so I don't give much of a about protocol![]()
Why? You know as well as anyone that this a fully functioning community. Even though you might not have met anyone, you still feel like you know them. So if this were to happen between friends outside the board, you bet your ass people would have a vested interest. It's an unwritten rule you don't do certain things and this is one of them.
I doubt Jam is disputing that, and you have a right to be upset. I just find it funny other folks are taking it personal ...LOL .
What is that line from "a bronx tale?" something about why get upset about someone who owes you money you don't like? Now you are rid of that person and it only cost you X dollars ... (paraphrasing) if he were family or a friend it would be different ...but Im pretty sure Kool is neither.
That was kind of DPG's plan, in a way. He took the bet on a whim without involving Kori, knowing full well the risks involved. After he won, he said he wins either way. 500.00 if Kool is a man of his word, or Kool being done for good on this forum if he welches, and the satisfaction of knowing he (DPG) delivered the killing blow to the most re ed poster here.
Well played, DPG. Well played.
So where is Kool now? I haven't seen his forsaken pathetic posts today...
McD's drive thru, handing people their nuggets.
