Does anyone know if Devin will be playing in the Finals? He hasn't played much in a long time and I was wondering if he would play in the Finals. I'm sure we could use some more bodies and deeper bench.

With Devon being a free agent next year, how much will his not playing hurt his chances of getting picked up? Or is he bound to be another star of the NBA's development league?

Coach Pop was asked about this on The Pop Show today - he said that Devin's leg is still not strong enough to give them hope that he will play in the finals. They're hoping that this week off will help a bit, but they're not optimistic about playing him.

As for it hurting his career, the doctors have assured him that it is not a career-jeopardizing injury and that it should be heal completely. The problem with this type of injury is that it could take a few days, a few months, they really have no idea. One thing is for sure though, they say that he should be completely healed and ready to go by the beginning of next season.

Back injuries are not predictable and they can impact other places, including knees and feet. The nerve system is all inter-related.
