Does anyone think he is worth gambling on from the Spurs point of view? Meaning, does anyone see him as good enough to give up considerable assets for?

Comparable to the likes of Antawn Jamison, Boris Diaw, Jeff Green and Michael Beasley.
He doesn't have superstar written all over him, and since that's the case, he's not worth dismantling the team for. For that, you need a John Wall/Blake Griffin sure fire future All Star player. You can't roll the dice.
He'll be good. I'm just not convinced he'll be great. I don't think he was even great at AZ. All that talent, and only 19.5 ppg in the NCAA? He strikes me as a VERY talented player who will be a good #2, or on a stacked team, maybe a #3. Some guys just don't want to step into the lead, guys like Lamar Odom, KG, and now apparently LeBron. They just won't step up and say "Climb on my back and I'll take you there". It's not in their makeup.
Unfortunately, the #2 pick makes a LOT, especially on the back end of the rookie deal.
I really hope the Spurs somehow end up with this guy. He improved leaps and bounds during his time at Arizona and will only get better.
