TBH...I'd rather have the boy bands than Bieber, Black Eyed Peas or Lady Gaga.

The early to mid-90's was a lock down era for modern R&B. Acapella style groups ruled and they did more actual singing instead of running thier voice through a thick layer of autotune.

Anyone who truly appreciates soul wishes they grew up in the 60's and 70's. The Temptations, Al Green, Otis Redding, Isleys, The Chi-Lites, Bobby Womack, Bill Withers...the list is pretty endless.
