Please Basketball Gods. Please.
Offensively, the Spurs aren't missing much. Defensively, this is a problem.
In the good olde Roman way, I promise I will sacrifice a heathen maverick in an altar to the gods if TD is fine.
it did not look. I'm praying its the 7-10 day variety....
Sprained left ankle, not returning tonight. Severity unknown, but the doctor did give a thumbs up.
Sprained left ankle; no word on severity yet. According to Fox Sports reports, one of the doctors came out of the tunnel and "gave the thumbs up" after looking at him, so hopefully it won't be too bad.
Tim was helped off by Novak, but was slightly walking on the ankle when he left the court.
As long as he is good by playoff time...
A lot of recent sprained ankles lasted only a couple weeks....Deron, Rondo, Boozer, etc.
The worst I've heard in a while is Chuck Hayes who was out 2-4 weeks.
Amy came out of the tunnel and was asked if he was ok and she nodded adfirmative.. So hopefully it is te typical Timmy headshot reaction to any ankle tweak.
I haven't seen the clip of what happened yet but I'm still optimistic that in the worst case scenario that he will be back for the playoffs. If he's going to strain his ankle at least it happened at home where he can get immediate treatment. That to me is the biggest key on how severe this can be is that he's going to get treated right away the faster the treatment starts the lower the healing time it will take.
Best case scenario:
Grade 1 sprain out for 1-2 weeks
Worst case scenario:
Grade 3 sprain out for 8-12 weeks
Camby vs Duncan Friday. Duel of the sprained ankles.
Funny how things work.
Pop sits him one game prior and then the next he gets ed.
well if kevin durant can come back from a sprain ankle so can duncan....
Thumbs up means it's obviously not Grade 3. Either way just shut Tim down the rest of the year, maybe even the first round of the playoffs depending who we play first round.
