Guys, I can't believe this . My mom promised me that if I save up half the money she would cover the other half toward the keytar I wanted, a Roland AX-7. I have been collecting cans, helping the neighbors with chores, sold my old toys and stuff on eBay for the past freakin' to earn the 500 dollars I need.
So I came to her today telling her I got enough money, and what does she say? Sorry, honey, but we need that money for Joel. For those that don't know, Joel is my mom's boyfriend. So I ask what for.
Get this. He needs the money because he wants to buy a handgun so he can practice shooting so he can try out for next year's Top Shot! WTF?
He's literally obsessed with the show. He records it and watches each episode like 10 times. We have all kinds of gun magazines coming to the house. He even wears shooting glasses wherever he goes.
Sorry for the rant, but I had to vent. My mom's life revolves around making Joel happy and I'm sick of it.
Now I see that Duncan is hurt. What a great in' day this has been.

Yeah, and I can't even play any cause Joel has some stupid fantasy that he's going to win Top Shot.

Simple solution.... Steal the gun and pawn that .
1) teaches your mom a lesson about keeping her word.
2) gives the shaft to your moms asshole loser boyfriend who will never make Top Shot.
3) you get what you want.
