no celebrations here. It's a sad time when a player goes out for the season. But good thing Duncan can rest and coast until 2nd round after a quick 4 game sweep of the Grizz.

ty, I woulda liked to see how they did in the playoffs. I'd love to see Memphis get rid of their ASSU coach Hollins and bring in a real coach who can get them to play defense. IMO a core of Conley, Mayo, Gay, Z-Bo and Gasol should be more than a slightly above .500 borderline playoff team.
MEM is no lock for 8th, or the playoffs. Seeds 5-8 are up in the air, with 9th being 1L behind 8th.

Like I said before, Marc Gasol's peak in the NBA will be a good role player on a borderline playoff team..
Rudy Gay is a huge loss, obviously for his talent, but mostly for depth purposes..Tony Allen has played very well in his absence, but their bench is atrocious, and it's going to be even worse in the playoffs(even though teams generally shorten their rotation, it's still good to have depth, in case of foul trouble/struggles)..
Grizz are no lock.

Spurs would probably be fine, though, with or without Gay.

sucks tbh. Unlike most players who get a fat contract, Gay hasn't turned into a cuckold, most of his stats are up across the board, and he turned into a pretty good defender this year compared to being a pretty average one before.
