SA-Ind
Rasho+pick for Ron Artest.
Would you take this risk? Would Indy be this desperate to get rid of him? Could Pop control him? Would you add Barry/Devin/Beno etc. to sweeten the deal? They need a Miller replacement.
Bowen is getting long in the tooth and this guy would be a great replacement if we could get his head screwed on straight. His offense, although not completely needed is also light years ahead of Bowen's. What would we do with Bowen though if we landed him?

why would Indy want Rasho? They have Jermaine O'Niel, Foster, and Croshere. Not to mention, Artest is one of the best defenders in the league. Our picks are trash too, b/c we are always so damn good.
Having a quality back up center and a good bench is worth more to me than trying to look ahead for Bowen's replacement. And even then I don't think he's worth it all. I think he'd very well wind up being the next Rodman here. He's had no leash on him at all for the last few years up in Indy and to suddenly be under a taskmaster like Pop? Disaster waiting to happen man.
pacers need to move artest
who would give up how much for him?
you would be a fool to give pacers a guy like odom for artest
every one thought sheed would be a disaster with pistons to
but he has been good except for last game
discussing trades that make no sense and would never happen is stupid
Then by all means don't discuss it.
O'Neal and Foster are great but Croshere is crap.
I think this next series could effect if rasho is back
but I would not mind J Oneal
but pacers will get more then what spurs would be willing to depart with
Rasheed has only been a good little boy while the Pistons have been winning. When the going has started getting tough lately he's showing signs of the old Rasheed. The reason he was always in trouble in Portland was because they were always losing. And on top of that I think he, Damon, and Bonzi just brought out the worst in each other. I'm not sure but I think they three of them were the basis for the main characters in Half Baked.
But the difference between Rasheed and Artest is that Artest might legitimately have a screw loose, a la Rodman.
If I Am The Wolves I Offer Kg For J Oneal
I wouldn't take Ron Artest for free. I hate that .
05-06 Artest = Mid-nineties Rodman.
He's a headcase.
No thank you.
rasheed would be winning in SA
Yeah but with Rasheed would we have enough room for Manu and Tony??
Why are we discussing these stupid trades, especially when they will never happen...Rasho and a pick for Artest?
Right.
Even if we could make that trade work, we wouldn't have enough to pay all our other players. Screw Artest, I don't ever wanna see him in a Spurs uniform.
No!!!!
I'd do it for Stephen Jackson or Artest.
I forget where I read it, but at one point it was said that the Spurs could handle one "problem child" with this group.
Buckets is as loose a cannon as Artest is, and he fit in fine here. I think this franchise could handle one bad boy.
That's like asking an Indy fan if they'd trade Freddie Jones for Manu.
Ron Artest doesn't fit in anywhere. He's just like Rodman...seriously messed up. No amount of pampering or good influences will affect someone with as serious a mental problem as Artest.
Really, really stupid idea.
Na, 'test is good, but I dont like his at ude.
Sort on the same subject, how long we got Bruce Bowen for? I am talking about his contract, is it up soon? I cant remember how long we signed him for. Anyone know?
We have Bruce for 3 more years i think...he just restructured last off season to bring in Barry. We have a team option for the 3rd year.
Great! I thought he did something recently with his contract, could not remember. Thats so awesome! I think Pop and Holt have done a great job managing these guys!
I bet larry will trade oneal, artest, tinsley or jackson this offseason
