    Every time a big earthquake happens and other smaller ones happen elsewhere, everyone gets really nervous that something big is happening. To me it just seems that it would be logical that on this fractured sphere that we call earth that when one plate moves substantially it would create pressure points or vacuated space elsewhere resulting in a chain of earthquakes.

    Doesn't this just seem logical, or am I way off base?
