I think our pitching is better this year...our bullpen can't be any worse, that's for sure.

Mike Stanton is going to hit 40 HRs and over 100 RBIs this year...calling it now

Unfortunately, our ceiling is 3rd in the NL East with the Phils and Braves there but whatevs.

I'm loving the 3,4,5 spots in the line-up:

    Hanley Ramirez
    Mike Stanton
    Gaby Sanchez

I expect good things from LoMo and Buck this year as well.

Josh Johnson might be a Cy Young sleeper too.

They will be better than last year IMO. Now review the thread and settle the debate.

Ricky Nolasco on the mound for the Fish tonight. Another solid starter, imo.

5-4 so far...not good with the crap teams they've played (Mets, Astros, Nats)

Josh Johnson is 2-0 and had no hitters going into the 7th and 8th innings of his 2 starts. Already looking like a CY sleeper. Nolasco was meh yesterday, but the bullpen surprisingly held up at the end. Nice series win over the Braves. This next series at Philly should be a good early gauge of how we stack up.

10-6, looking for the sweep of the Buccos tonight. If they get another shutout they will have held Pittsburgh scoreless for the series

Rockies, Dodgers, Reds, Cards, Nats (surprising start), and Phillies coming up on the sched, so the Fish will have a good barometer of where they stand amongst some of the better clubs in the NL.

8-1 Marlins in the 3rd inning. Good thing the bats came out today cause Volstad sucks.

Anibal Sanchez was incredible...8 innings of no-hit ball against the team with the best record in baseball (Rockies). Marlins have 3 damn good starters in JJ, Nolasco, and Sanchez. Unfortunately, Volstad and Vasquez are beyond ty. Still, 12-6 is pretty encouraging thus far.

Can't blame Vasquez for last night's loss, he did his part. Hanley Ramirez is to blame. He's batting under .200 so far

JJ's back on the mound today vs. Jimenez, so should be a good rubber match.

Mike Stanton with the clutch 3-run dinger in the 8th...Sucks that JJ got a no-decision though, he pitched his ass off.
