Wade is more important to MIA and their future. Shaq wont last much longer, Wade is very young.

....That's what I was wondering...Who would you all have given 2nd place to? I'd have gone with Iverson.

Iverson doesn't have the luxury to play next to Shaquille O'neal for 82 games.

Miami would've still won 45-50 games without Shaq.

Philadelphia would be a lottery bound team without Iverson. They even managed not to get swept in the first round, against the defending champs, which is more then I can say for the Nets.

Also, I agree that Miami is not a bad team without Shaq. However, it's not like Wade doesn't a lot of help. The Jones boys, Haslem, Mourning, Laetner, etc. plus a great coach in SVG.

Wade is more important than Shaq. Iverson has shown so much heart and toughness that it isn't even funny comparing Wade to Iverson yet.

Wade averages a lot of TO's also. I'll give you that AI may take bad shots sometimes, but looking at his team, I'd say he has the best shot at making something.

Chris gave the stats but, saying that Wade will never be an All-Star is kind of of far out, he made the All-Star team this year. He will be a great player but, it's only his 2nd year to start comparing him to such players.

Last year Wade was a role player but he really has picked up his game this year. I wouldn't be able to tell if Iverson could lead a team to a championship but stats don't tell the whole story. Wade shoots about 7% better than Iverson from FG% and has averages 2 more rebounds. Without Shaq, Wade would have to score more points and do everything.
    Wade 47.8% 24.2ppg 5.2RPG 6.8Assists 3.21Turnovers 1.57SPG
    Iverson 42.4% 4RPG 7.9 Assists 4.59 Turnovers Steals 2.4
It is quality vs. quan y with Wade and Iverson

but Iverson carries his team, he has very little help. Wade has Shag and a solid team to help him out.

Iverson carries his team but he also takes his team out of rhythm to get going.
For example Chris Webber played much better in Sacramento because he got shots in rhythm and often. He also turns the ball over alot which gives the other team easy baskets. I just don't think scoring averages are that important. I contrentrate on assists/turnover ratio, fg%, ft%, 3pt%, rebounding, blocks, and steals.

Miama ed up by trading away its core for a guy name shaq, they still wouldve been compe ive in teh east IMO. This trade is only for the short term, and after shaq leaves wade will be the only man left at the club and then they will have to start rebuildin around him...
