Making a mentally weak player like Bonner the linchpin of your team is staggering. I have a hard time believing what I'm seeing - Pop is betting the farm on Bonner and refusing to entertain alternative strategies and options that are available to him.
Pop and his defenders have nowhere to hide now. Pop's calculation has been proven to be dead wrong for how many years now?
It seems Pop viewed our regular season record as ironclad vindication of his Bonner love. Yet many had their doubts and suspected that this is exactly where we'd end up: another Bonner collapse. You trust in Bonner, you fail.
