A guy like Melo is similar to Kobe.. his real strength is scoring the ball in isolation situations... albeit horribly inefficiently..so he needs dominant players around him who can also create there own offense for themselves and for others because the offense is going to be really stagnant and one dimensional when so much of it runs through him for isolations... and when you only convert at a 45% clip thats going to hurt your team alot of the time.
