He's having a good a year as anybody but here are a few guys i'd take over him
Pujols, M.Cabrera, Arod, Tejada, Beltran, and Vlad. but abreu is right behind these guys, he is good, a complete player.
Easily top 5 in the majors IMO. What do you guys think?

The guy is awesome! He has hit 20 or more home runs for the last 6 years, he's scored over 100 runs the last 6 years, he's got 90 RBI's 4 of the last 6 years, he's averaged 30 stolen bases a year for the last 6 years, he's batted .300 or higher 5 of the last 6 years, his slugging percentage has been close to .550 5 of the last 6 years, and he's done it on some pretty crappy teams. I think he is a Top 5 player,if not he's pretty dam close.
Cubs D.Lee is crushing it too! He is on a hot streak,I hope he keeps this type of production up all season.
Me too, i'd like to see another Triple Crown Winner in my lifetime! Lee keeps it up he'd be the first since Yaz did it long ago.
Yes,great post! Thing about Derek is he has always been consistent and classy... now he's carrying a team (maybe a stretch their pitching is finally living up) and still a stand up guy!
mr. lee has never been anything consistent except for consitently bad in the clutch until the last year or so.
i should know after all. only saw him play for a few years.
