Is David West a system player?..

The Hornets are now 4-2 since David West left the team..Carl Landry is averaging over 19 points per game, easily replacing West's production..is he overrated? system player?..

Or maybe the Sacramento system wasn't for Landry? Landry could have easily put up those numbers for the Rockets if Scola wasn't around, then he goes to Sac Town and sucks. Then to New Orleans and beasts again.

We won't really be able to tell until West goes to another team, but Landry has to be given some credit.

They are 41-31 with him. Landry is good but without David West they are a sub-500 team.

I think David West fits in better on certain teams like New Orleans yeah, but I think it's more of how solid a player Carl Landry is.

Perhaps you should look at Landry's stats when he first arrived in Sacramento and revisit the above statement.

West's shooting ability as an PF is at the top of the league. Landry's more athletic IMO.

Its more about Landry being pretty good than West being overrated. If the Hornets didn't trade for Landry and had Jason Smith starting, then they wouldn't have won as many games. West had a very good season last year with CP3 missing half the season and Collison is a shoot first, shoot second PG. West is not great, but he's very good.
