LA could still hypothetically end up with the 4 seed. OKC would have to finish with a better record due to LA winning the season series, but OKC only has remaining games against Milwaukee and Sacramento, and so if they beat LA they will conceivably win out. If LA was to lose it's remaining three they'd drop behind OKC in the standings. Dallas would have to play their part in making that happen by winning as well, but that would certainly be an interesting turn of events.

I'd much prefer to see the Spurs beat the Lakers in the WCF than in the conference semis. Just prettier that way.

Scratch that, you better make it seeds 5, 6, 7, and 8 are up in the air. Theoretically the entire bracket, Spurs excluded, can be shaken up.
True...but there's only one team I revel in seeing the Spurs beat (or any team beat, for that matter) and that's LA.

No way LAL loses all their remaining games.

    Agreed.

Although it's highly unlikely Lakers will fall to 4th seed. I think the Top 4 in the West are going to stay seeded as is currently:

    1) Spurs
    2) Lakers
    3) Dallas
    4) OKC

The bottom 4 will be tricky...specifically Portland, Hornets, & Memphis. However, things always seem to magically work out in favor of the Lakers in my experience (see magical Gasol, Pau trade out of the blue) so as much as I'd love for them to have a hard road to the WCF, they'll prolly end up getting the easiest track there with Hornets in round 1 and _allas in round 2.

Wrong, OKC by virtue of being a division winner.

As of now, if Dallas and OKC win the Lakers will be tied for the 2nd and 3rd place with Dallas and one game ahead of OKC, meaning that if we beat them thay can finish 4th.
    Don't know what's best.
Certainly the best thing for us would be the Lakers finishing 3rd with OKC finishing 2nd, but i don't see that happening. Anyways, Dallas loosing would be great that way they would tie OKC for the 3rd spot and the Lakers even loosing keep a one game distance with both.
