    are $4.99 on steam

if you haven't played them, you must, at least the first one. second one didn't have the good story, but had more fun gameplay

make sure you've played System Shock 2 and read (or audiobooked) Atlas Shrugged first

Once I got over laying deer slugs into demented little girls that were going to try to eat my face....good times. Thanks for the heads up, looks like a good time to pick up #2.

Yeah part 2 was just part 1 with a drill. Same level and same enemies.

Bioshock for $4.99 is a steal. Pass on reading the Rand tripe though.

Powers in one hand, guns in the other. The first game makes you switch.

Incidentally, the second game is weaker than the first in a lot of areas, but it's pretty silly to suggest it's not worth $5.00 as a result.

Bioshock 2 is kick ass. I still don't get why people hate on it so much. The story is weak, and it doesn't have the same scary feel as the first one, but the combat mechanics are vastly improved, the new weapons and plasmids are awesome, they took away the stupid hacking system from the first one, and your character towards the middle of the game turns into one of the badest characters you will ever play as. Not to mention the Minervas Den DLC that might be better than the entire game itself. Most definitely worth 5 freakin bucks. Anyone seen the gameplay trailer from the new one? Looks badass.

Didn't remember that haven't played part 1 since 06-07, thanks.
