Bruce Bowen of ESPN picks George Hill for 6th man
bless this sweet old man.
that MVP graphic is like a Wheres Waldo with Manu.
Manu is a great player and had a good year. But for about 1 month to 11/2 months of poor shooting, it would not be as absurd.
However, giving Rose the MVP makes no sense. The Bulls play in a cupcake division and conference. The sucky really suck in the east.
I would give the award to either Kobe, James or Durant.
Dr. Jack was once one of the great basketball minds in America.
You'd give it to James, who plays in the sucky suck East, but not to Rose? I'm gonna assume you haven't seen any Bulls games this year.
It's Rose for MVP and it really shouldn't even be close.
Our boy Bruce going with the homer pick. I like it
Rose is alright. I'd rather see Durant get it though.
Unbelievable that Dwight Howard got only 2 MVP votes.
Not this year, OKC wasn't legit till Perkins came on board. Rose has beasted all year while Noah and Booz missed significant time--all this while holding off the Heat and Celtics. Rose is top dog this year.
Jon Barry voting Grant Hill DPOY is almost as bad.![]()
real MVP is Dirk tbh.
I used to always like Dr. Jack as a kid. Sad to see this.
Rose is clearly behind Howard no matter how you look at it in my book.
hahaha I saw those too, Bruce picking George was the one that really cracked me up. I mean, I love Bruce, I love George, but thats as big of a homer pick as there is. Hill has no business even being in the 6th man discussion, it would even be easy to argue that Neal has been more valuable in that role this season than Hill (1.5 fewer points in 7.5 fewer minutes, similar fg% and a much better % from three), whose minutes are comparable to those of our starters. I've been disappointed in Hill's development this year, he hasnt played poorly by any means but he hasnt made the strides I was hoping for, especially in terms of scoring. His twelve or so a game isnt that bad I was just expecting a lot more of those big, 20+ nights from him and other than having strung together some impressive performances over the last couple weeks as the season winds down and other guys get some rest that just hasnt been the case. Last year in that Dallas series he really impressed me though, so come playoff time I'm hoping we get to see him rise to the occasion and be more assertive offensively, we needa get points from someone other than the big three and open three point shooters, and Hill can provide that. Lord knows RJ wont be.
lol Keith freaking Bogans
Manu isn't the MVP of his own team.
Bruce voted for Hill for Sixth Man
Not for Coach of the year, he went with Tom Thibodeau
I think Bruce and Pop allegedly had a falling out.
