That city loved the Kings like SA and Portland love their teams. Totally devoted. Sucks that they won't have them anymore.
Well I have not been on this board for quite some time as I have been busy with other things in life. Just a note to say that even though I left Sacramento for Phoenix four years ago, I still think of the Kings and their fans and at least they did not give me trouble when I was wearing my Spurs gear..
It is a shame that the Maloofs were a bunch of A-holes and tried to pry an arena from the City of Sacramento at a time when the nation was in deep recession and that people were-and are-losing their homes. It is sad to see the Kings go, but the time for corporate welfare is over and to the Maloofs, I say don't let the door hit you in the arse!!!
