I really don't see Bonner getting 28+ minutes unless we are just running away with it...

What do you guys think it'll be? Every single time the Spurs have played the Grizz this year Bonner has been just absolutely man handled by everyone on their roster. Will he finally be able to turn it up in the playoffs or will he fail like he has the past 3 years? This season he's shot the 3 pretty well against Memphis, but this is the playoffs of course!
My prediction:
28 mins (Depends on how close a game it is, if it is close he'll surely get 30+)
8 points (2/6 from 3 and maybe 2pts off of FT's or some )
4 rebounds. 0 offensive, he'll have plenty of opportunities to get more defensive rebounds but he'll get beasted by whoever is boxing him out which will lead to extra possessions for the Grizz.
2 TO's
15-30 points given up just by him courtesy of multiple Grizzlies players (from Guards to Forwards) attacking the out of him/making wide open shots thanks to his terrible rotations
+12 (lol)

And a dumb lost look on his face.

You focus on Bonner and I will focus on the players like TD and TP who will determine the game...
0-4 from 3
1-2 from field
2 rebs
2 turnovers
20 minutes
Like Bonner's defense doesn't determine the game, when they score on him they score in bunches.
My fav. example was the Heat game cause I made sure to mark down the points scored on him.
Spurs down by 3 and slowly gaining momentum, Bonner comes in, Bosh demands the ball and scores 3 straight buckets on Bonner=6 points, Bonner rotates late to LBJ and falls for the pump fake leading to a wide open shot=2 points, Wade drives it in with Bonner under the basket and draws a foul=2 points. Bonner could've easily stepped up and taken a charge from Wade but he didn't. Spurs now down by 13 and there goes the game. How many minutes did Bonner play when he allowed those 10 points? Just 6 mins.![]()

19 Bonner vs Tiago Threads
Bonner will have 10 minutes +/- 3 minutes.
He will take one shot.
He will be scored on 4 times and Pop will yank him but he will get the re ed kid hair tussle by Duncan or Pop, and a snow cone on the bench.
Only stat line I want to see - Bonner, M. DNP (coaches decision)
No matter how many minutes he gets (20+ most likely), Darrell Arthur is going to absolutely abuse him. I don't even wanna find out what Randolph/Gasol will do to him.
Best picture sig on the board should go on billboards all around the Spurs training and playoff facility - props!
If Bonner is on the floor in all seriousness more than 20 minutes Spurs chances of winning go to near 0
His stat line doesn't matter. He will be great at spreading the floor as usual. Spurs are so damn lucky to have locked him to a bargain contract.
The Bonner playoff suckage tradition will continue starting this Sunday. He will play more minutes than any of us like.
Pop likes Bonner to spread the floor.![]()
And how!![]()
Curious to see who Battier is assigned to. If Bonner, it's likely we won't be hearing much out of him.
I wouldn't say that. As long as he isn't seeing heavy minutes on Randolph, he shouldn't be a huge issue for winning/losing this series.
It is what it is and he's going to see heavy minutes in the playoffs while Tiago will be seeing garbage time minutes at best. I can only hope he is hitting his shots to cancel out the buckets/rebounding he'll be giving up so we'll see.
They could put OJ Mayo on him and he'd be pretty much canceled out. All you need is a guy to stick within 3 feet of him and challenge any 3 pointer.
Bonner at the 4 is basically small ball. If I were the Grizz and Bonner was in the game, I'd go with Battier at the 4 and their lineup would most likely give the Spurs a lot of trouble.
Triple double coming. It's gimmie a break thread.?
I'm wondering who's coming on Ginobili's place (s5). Neal or Hill?
bonner? take a charge? when was the last time you saw this inept player have the court awareness to take a charge?![]()
