Spurs on the other hand ranked #1 in defensive efficiency, and #8 on the offense end.
Spurs are DEFINETLY more balanced. Actually they are better on BOTH ends. But of course its all about matchups and playing to your potential in the playoffs.
The stats go out the window. But the Spurs over the course of the season WERE MORE BALANCED. They would have to really let the Pistons get in their head to lose this series in embrassing fashion like LA of 2004.
Detroit was actually more healthy this season than the Spurs, and played in a weaker conference. But they do matchup well.
Spurs will win this series handily if they play their best ball. But which TP will show up? Will Duncan dominate. Will Bowen limit Rip? Will Manu play good basketball? A lot of questions. The numbers suggest the Spurs are better, but do they have the heart and passion to cash in and win the le??
