lol anyone thinking Spurs can beat Lakers with this pusscake paint defense.
Absolutely pathetic..
Marc Gasol is a slightly above average player, a good role player, at best..he can't create his own offense, he isn't a great finisher, he doesn't do anything particularly well on offense..
Yet, he has over 20 points..part of that is on Duncan's D, most of it is the horrible help D..yes, he made some fluke shots that he'll probably never make again, but otherwise, pathetic D..
Spurs aren't going to win this series if they're allowing Marc Gasol to play like an All-Star, he doesn't have anywhere near that kind of talent, embarrassing defense..

Imagine when we challenge a lineup of Perkins/Ibaka/Mohammed
Pop's fault for allowing Bonner to continue to play interior D. While failing on offense.
And even if the Spurs do somehow win this series, I think that any pondering about whether the Spurs could upset the Lakers and their size has been resoundingly answered today. But maybe Bonner and Neal will rain seven threes between them per game to make up for it.
Well our 2nd best big played 0 minutes today. So I guess Memphis bigs will be very happy to see those same guys again in game 2. Blair and Bonner are too slow on rotations on D
Don't worry about it, CP3 is out for their ass.
IIRC, Gasol was 2-6 from the field when he was matched up against Splitter, this season..
