Pop used to call the best out of bounds plays but now they are just terrible. Look at the play at the end of the final game against PHX, at the Portland game where Novak threw it out, and again yesterday almost turning it over when Gasol hit the ball. Against SAC a few years ago in the playoffs Spurs set up a wide open three for barry in the corner, against the Hornets to clinch a better seed a couple years ago Finley was set-up beautifully, and on many other occasions the play was run nicely. Is the problem a lack of execution and focus or simply bad play calls by Pop?

Jefferson threw it straight to Gasol, and you want to blame that on Pop? RJ choked. It took a great play from Hill to even give us a chance to tie at the end.

Best X's and O's coach in the NBA made George Hill the primary ball handler for the first, second and fourth quarters. "Hey, Manu's out, but we're going to run the exact same sets and plays, but George will be in his place."

And it took a great lack of rotation on Hill's part to require the Spurs to need that shot at the end.
