I'd give him a chance, plus Pop wanted to sign him when he was still property of the Nets but playing overseas.

Right now probably the cheapest options that can still get you some production at the Center position is Nazr and Krstic

His rebounding is terrible but I'd rather have him then Bonner, he's 7'0 and had a consistent mid range game.

Krstic Signs Multi-Year Deal With CSKA Moskow

The exodus of centers for the Boston Celtics continues with Nenad Krstic reportedly signing a multi-year deal with a team in Europe.

Krstic, who along with Jeff Green, joined the Celtics after being traded from Oklahoma City in February for Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson, has agreed to a two-year deal worth $6 million Euros (that's about $8.76 million dollars in American currency) with CSKA Moskow which is the reigning Russian champions.

The 7-foot center, set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, averaged 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in 24 games with the Celtics.

Man, can you imagine if Green does not re-sign with the celtics as well..Talk about a horrible trade, reaching Isiah status if green goes somewhere else..

    http://www.euroleague.net/euroleague...stic-at-center

CSKA Moscow has added experience and power to its frontcourt by signing center Nenad Krstic to a two-year contract. Krstic (2.13 meters, 27 years old) returns to the Euroleague after seven seasons away. He grew up with Partizan Belgrade and helped the club win three straight Yugoslavian/Serbian League les between 2001 and 2004, plus the 2002 Yugoslav Cup. Krstic arrives from Boston of the NBA, with whom he averaged 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in 24 games last season after arriving in a midseason trade from Oklahoma City. Overall Krstic appeared in 419 NBA games with Boston, Oklahoma City and New Jersey and averaged 10 points and 5.4 rebounds. Before that Krstic was a double-digit Euroleague scorer in each of his last two seasons, 2002-03 and 2003-04, with Partizan. CSKA will be Krstic's second team in Russia. He started the 2008-09 season with Triumph Lyubertsy and tallied 13.3 points and 7.3 rebounds in six EuroChallenge games with the club. The veteran center has also been a regular with the Serbian national team with whom he has a silver medal from EuroBasket 2009. He also represented Serbia at the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2010 FIBA World Championships.

"I like the pressure," Krstic said. "That's one of the reasons I decided to get back to Europe. In the NBA you play 82 games in regular season and you don't feel so much pressure. And I know that in Europe, no matter if you play for the club or for the national team, every game is important. You pass the test of your character every day, which gives you a chance to find out more about yourself. I am excited to be in CSKA. I know the club's history, I know it played in the Euroleague Final Fours for eight years in a row. I played in the Euroleague last when I was 21. And I am motivated more than ever to get back to the compe ion. I heard a lot of good words about the Russian League as well, which is one of the best on the continent."
