Nice win Lakers fan. Hornets did as much as they could to hang close. Couldn't get over the hump and it went downhill from there. Lakers pretty much control the series now.

That's true, but thinking about Tyson Chandler trying to guard Bynum makes me want to disconnect my cable.

Wouldn't surprise me if they quit after this one. Hard to recover after a beatdown at home. The next game could be 121-63. I'd be shocked if the Hornets won the next one. They don't seem tough enough to get down and dirty.

    LOL fluke game 1 win

    LOL reality

But really, good game Laker fans. Hot crowd. I thought the play of the game was when it was 75-70, and the crowd was into it big time, and Pau hit a corner 3 pointer to make it 78-70. Took the air out of the players and the crowd, and it was downhill from there.

I don't think Hornets will quit, but they just aren't as good as the Lakers.

They already quit early in the 4th quarter. Series been over.

Nah, Lakers bench outplayed Hornets bench which put the game away. But I think if they don't come out quickly in Game 4, it's gonna get ugly quick.

Belinelli was 1-7 on 3's and Green and Jack were a combined 1-10. Back down to earth and this series is over. The Hornets had to win game 3 to stand a chance, and the usual suspects did their disappearing act.

If we don't get any production again from our SG's Marco and Green, then it WILL get ugly quick. Pathetic game by them. Jack too.

Well, those three guys settle for deep jumpers instead of penetrating. That's what happens. Thornton would be nice to have, but losing West means we needed Landry for now. However, if Landry leaves in the offseason, the trade will look bad.

Ariza is a baller though. See how he steps his game up in the playoffs?

    Learned that from Kobe.

The Hornets need somebody who can actually hit a wide open 3-pointer and who won't try to do everything themselves with the game on the line. Belinelli and Green have to go.

I also think Monty going status quo didn't help. Bynum abused Okafor, Gasol rebounded over Landry, and Odom abused Smith. What's wrong with this sentence?

All along I've said it should have been Gray on Bynum, Okafor on Gasol, and Landry on Odom. Makes the most sense. Hornets aren't going to win by going small. They don't shoot well enough to play in an uptempo game.

Doesn't matter. The Lakers came in and did what they had to do, just like with every other series for the past three years.

I agree will be MUCH tighter ... but if we win that ... then i think it wont be as hard to close in 5 ...

Gray sucks almost as bad as Haywood. Has nothing on Baby Drew.

Doesn't matter. Okafor obviously can't handle Drew and Gray is a better matchup. No reason to let Okafor get crushed over and over.

Gray wouldn't have made a difference. You go with your overpaid starter to prove a point.
