One Dimensional

Watching the OKC game right now and just thinking how one dimensional the Spurs are on offense. Too many players that are one dimensional and that makes us very easy to guard.

Tony Parker - Can't shoot the ball. He's looking to score by driving to the rack every time and that is making it easy for the Grizzlies to defend him.

RJ- Seems to only be able to shoot threes

Bonner - Can only shoot threes

Blair - Can only score inside, no jumpshot.

McDyess - Can only seem to score with the jumpshot

Gary Neal - mainly a jumpshooter.

Manu and Tim seem to be the only versatile players on that team that can score inside and outside with any kind of consistency. No wonder it is so easy for the Grizzlies or any other team to defend us and why they are making it so difficult for us to score. They know quite clearly what everyone's strength is on the Spurs team, and for most of the players they just have to defend that one guys strength and then usually that player can't seem to do if that is taken away.

IMO George Hill is the biggest fail. He's the only guy apart from Manu and Tim that is versatile enough to make a difference, but he is too passive and hardly ever shows up on offense with any consistency. George Hill has to do a lot more and BE AGGRESSIVE at all times.

Tony's in a major slump, we all know he can shoot the midrange J just fine. NOTHING is falling for him right now...

if the spurs move the ball around better spurs would be ok......its not like the grizz have blown out the spurs...spurs are just beating themselves
