Tickets for Wednesday’s Game 5 of the top-seeded Spurs’ series with the eighth-ranked Memphis Grizzlies are on sale on the secondary market for just $8, according to the website TicketsNow. The cheapest ticket for the game available on the Spurs’ website is $15.35.
After four championships in the previous 12 seasons, it may be that Spurs fans are blase about early post-season play. A match-up with the glamor-free Grizzlies may also play a part.
Game 4 between the teams is Monday night in Memphis and, with fans perhaps buzzed by the home team leading the series 2-1, demand for tickets is relatively high, with the average price at $155.
