Yes,we lost because we played like garbage.

But the refs helped Memphis a lot. They gave them a 8-0 FT run to take the lead after the halftime. And we were in bonus with 9 minutes to end the quarter.

After that we played a lot of worse and we never came back in the game. It's not the same when you are down by 10 in the 3rd quarter, you are down 2-1 in the series and you can't touch your opponent in defense.

The refs sure didnt cost the game but they definitely helped memphis to a sizeable lead in that third quarter it virtually softened our D with the fear of giving up free points.

Are you arguing that the Spurs didn't actually commit fouls or that the officials were making things up and choosing to call them?

It sure looked to me like the calls that they made in that stretch were correct.

The calls were right, the problem is that Memphis did the same kind of fouls without being called...
At least 2 calls at the start of the 3rd were just slight touches...

It helped memphis build their momentum, maybe they "deserved" it because they were more agressive, but the calls were not geneous.

It seemed like the refs were allowing the Grizz to get away with being more physical, but it was the way the Spurs responded to that physicality that was most disappointing.

No, the reffing was extraordinarily one sided, especially to start the third. What's pathetic is that the Spurs came out flat and failed to recover from it. You can't really blame the officiating when you get blown the out in the second half.

Memphis is a bigger and more physical team. When you can't compete with someone physically you often have to resort to fouling them.

The refs are really letting both sides go at it out on the perimeter, there has been tons of reaching and bumping fouls out on the top of the key that they have let go all series long (calls that manu and tony would benefit getting) and the refs have called the paint very ticky tack all series long. You can't breath on anyone in the paint but out on the perimeter guys are practically mugging eachother. Obviously MEM will benefit from this since they live in the paint compared to us.

What the were you people watching most were tick-tack fouls. But more than that they were allowed to be physical but we were not it was called one-sided and took the air right out of them.

Oh yeah your right, cause a ref was never influenced by a home crowd or made a mistake. I guess next thing you'll say is the timekeeper in game one and in 04 started the clock on time. Go yourself!

The Spurs were outscored 56-36 in the second half and you're blaming the refs

Their fans were too loud. Unfair advantage. That's why we lost.

Also, the towels sucked. Tony was unable to dry off his hands adequately and therefore fumbled the ball all over the place.

Did the refs cause Tony parker to handle the ball like a hot potato or cause Matt Bonner to be a defensive turnstile? An influenced ref or refereeing mistake didn't cause the Spurs to lose by 18. The Spurs didn't need any help playing like corpses early in the 2nd half. And what the does the timekeeper snafu in game 01 have to do with SA taking it the keister in the 2nd half of game 4? And 04? Are you reaching back 7 years to pass blame for the Spurs atrocious 2nd half performance last night? About the only thing the Spurs did right last night was they didn't blame the officiating for their poor play.

So maybe you should go yourself, instead. Or better yet, wash the sand out of your man-gina and stop crying like a little ing .

    Refs aren't the problem.

There are turnovers on the break that used to be two points and allow the Spurs to get back on defense. The Spurs perimiter shooting has been garbage. Once again, made shots allow a team to set on defense. Look at how hard of a time the Spurs are having against the Grizzlies when they are making everything.

See this ? I'm agreeing with Laker fan and a porn star troll? Weak like Horse's "go yourself" really doesn't qualify as raising the freaking bar. Maybe Horse would be better suited rooting for the Suns.

They denied my application. I would join your crew but they said a prerequisite of being able to suck was required. I passed. Glad that's working out for you though.

thats what ive been trying to say....yes spurs started playing like crap in the 3rd quarter but it all started with those bs fouls the refs started to call against the spurs in the beginning of the 3rd quarter....after that everything started to go downhill and spurs never recoverd.....than you have the spurs getting bumped around and not getting those calls hurts the spurs as well....the refs also have something to do with the loss no doubt.....
