Since this thread is about welchers, looks like we have a new one who offered a bet with me and hasn't offered to pay up, and it's a lot of money.

Ok, GSH has a thread going in Spurs section about how he is done with watching the NBA, except for Spurs games. We had an unfinished debate from months ago I revived, and he's losing that one, badly....Action starts with post #47.

At post #57 he makes his offer. Before I could answer, John Basedow stepped in and claimed the prize, in this case, 3 weeks pay. From what I make, it's a lot of money. Everyone is clowning the out of GSH in that thread, even a Spurs fan is telling him to walk away.

Now, I don't know too much about the other welched bets, but I know Kool is supposed to iwe $500 to someone, but I don't know what the bet was. Then cobbler had one with ChrisRichards for $100. Can anyone tell me what these bets were about?

Here's my deal. If you make a bet with a stranger on the internet, expect to be welched on. Since my winnings far exceed what anyone else "won", suppose I forgive GSH if and only if everyone else forgives every other welcher? Sometimes I come here looking for arguments, sometimes I come here and look for peace. What say you all?

I am certain a lot of people here don't care what people think about them. Myself, I don't gamble, but if you read the post I linked where GSH offered to bet me, essentially, he just gave it away. I never had anything handed to me that easily, not even pussy. Anyway, I still don't know what your bet was, but passion for a team has broken many a gambler. Remember that when you bet, and be prepared to afford losing what you risk. In an ideal world, my idea causes the welching smack to stop and maybe more basketball posts appear. I can dream, can't I?
