strictly mental problems
I remember a few years ago, it was great 1st qtrs followed by bad 2nd qtrs.
First of all I love you Gary Neal, I knew you got it.
Often the Spurs struggle in the 3rd especially in playoffs.
Don't know why but it's just like that...
Thoughts?

Pop sucks at halftime adjustments. Almost every year since Pop took over the Spurs have pretty much regularly lost the 3rd quarters. Other teams adjust while the Spurs twiddle their thumbs at halftime.
Been saying that for about a decade now.
Pops great at a lot of things, but he sucks at halftime.
3rd quarters used to be money time for the Spurs
