just getting back from the game tonight and couldn't be more proud of the Bees. who would have thought that even without team leader David West they would have pushed the 2-time defending WWE champions to 6 games? we were clearly out sized and that killed us on the boards, and in games 5 and 6 we were playing 5 vs 8, but still put up a decent fight. Paul was brilliant in 5 out of 6 of the games and Ariza stepped up big time and played his best basketball of the entire season during this series. good job Monty on his first season as head coach. we will be back. until then, cheers to a Memphis and Atlanta finals match-up! god bless

son he can't opt out of his contract until AFTER next season. I expect the Hornets to keep him on the roster until at least the trade deadline next season. The moves they make this off season and up until the deadline next year will determine whether he stays or not, but I think it is clear they can compete.

Why did the arena appear so empty tonight? Are there still bad storms in the area?

The other 2 games the arena looked packed and the crowd was loud. Tonight it was small and dead and tbh it seemed like the Hornets played down to that.

son I was at the game and it was completely packed. a technical sellout is 17,200 ... the announced attendance was just under 18,000 (standing room)

The arena was packed. Everyone wore blue t-shirts which matches the color of the seats. But the arena was packed.

I think Paul will come back but get traded before the deadline.

If you guys keep Paul and West, you should be fine for next season. Keep your chins up, all of them.

Paul is going to leave the Hornets. Might as well start to rebuild now.

You put up a better fight than anyone expected. Should be proud that the shorthanded Hornets took the Lakers to 6 games.
