Ellen Page annoys the out of me the same way Kristin Stewart does
Not sure why, but I was intrigued enough by this movie to go see it. Glad I did.
It starts off really weak, but Ellen Page is ing hilarious and saves the movie in a big way. Dwight Schrute is very Dwight Schrutey in this movie, which I'm not a fan of, but he's not horrible. Even if you hate Miss Juno, she is so goddamn foulmouthed and hilarious in this movie that you'll love this. And the final fight against the bad guys is actually pretty goddamn good.
Also, this film makes Kick-Ass look like a kid's movie.

Captain Malcolm Reynolds is in it. Reason enough for me to see it.
That actually looks pretty good. Is it getting mainstream play or didjoo have to see it at The Angelika or some such theater, mono?

same here but that's another discussion. Seriously though, they are the female equivalents to Jessie Eisenberg and Michael Cera. The whole socially awkward too hip for the mainstream crowd shtick gets to me. I swear, the moment all 4 of them are casted in the same movie I'll put a bullet in my head
I have to agree with this re that gives himself tattoos. I thought this movie was horrible.
Good movie, imo. Very different yet entertaining.
Just watched it. Ellen Page was outstanding in it. She def brought the "dark comedy" out.
Took a weeeeeeird turn. Not sure how I felt about the way it ended...though, like mono said, the final battle was pretty great.

Saw it a few months ago and it was pretty good. Bullet to the head thing was a surprise, but the line she had before that was pure gold. True about the final battle and how good it is.
Woody Harelson did a movie like this called Defendor, which I haven't seen, that is supposed to be pretty good too.
Ellen Page was good but entire movie was meh, IMO. Compared against Kick Ass I thought it was the weaker movie.
