This series makes me appreciate Bruce Bowen even more. Makes me miss all the tough roll players the spurs have been blessed to have. Bowen, Horry, Avery Johnson, Mario Elie, Malik Rose, Sean Elliott, Brent Barry. The guys that did the dirty work.

Yep - that's why this hurts so bad. Remembering all those great players and how tough the Spurs were - and then seeing this team that played against Memphis. Ughhhhh! Maybe it's because we got the Frenchie running point - the French don't know how to fight!

Spurs need some tough, defensive minded players again. God, I miss Bruce!!!!!

It finished with the inevitable decline... Happened to Bowen first, and he was a key guy that couldn't lose a step... Manu and Tim are going through the same...

I'd rather have Bruce take a corner three in the clutch than George Hill.

    Maybe even now.

Yup. Bruce was as integral to the Championships as any of the rest of the Big 4. Why the haven't the Spurs retired his number???

Spurs Dynasty ended with the Scola trade. That was the day of the infamy on Spurs history
