Do you listen to music on your computer or iTunes?
Then you should really give a try to Audioscrobbler. Basically you need three steps:
Download the plugin version for the Media player you use.
Register @ audioscrobbler.com
Enter your registration ID and password into the plugin.
Then the plug in will send stats into your profile, and will show your recently played tracks, weekly charts, overall top artists and songs, etc. It will calculate your musical neighbours, and you can join groups of people who share your musical taste. The plugin can't tell the difference if you are listenning to a CD or mp3, so don't worry about the legal side. Also, it only works with audio, so don't worry, nobody will know what kind of porn you watch. No spyware or other tricks included.
You can save the music you hear in your PC if you don't have broadband and aren't connected all the time, and it will send the stats when you connect to the server (it doesn't take too much, depends on how many tracks you saved).
You can also have sigs for forums, like these two:

Damn I didn't know you were a big Oasis fan. You must have been recently listening to Be Here Now, great album, my favorite Oasis one and I think their best.
I like Be Here Now, but the one I like the most is Definitely Maybe, it's just pure rock & roll with great vocals.
Have you bought Don't Believe The Truth? A friend of mine has and he told me it is a great album, much better than Heathen Chemistry and Standing On...
I haven't bought it yet but I have listened to some of the tracks. Just Lyla and Let There Be Love...the other two are B-sides...Eyeball Tickler and I Can See It Now.
But I like HC and SOTSOG, so I'm curious to hear the new album.
The new album is pretty good. The songs with Noel's vocals are particularly strong I think. I have yet to find anything I like as much as "Gas Panic", "Cast No Shadow", "Angel Child", or "Where Did It All Go Wrong" - but it's still good.
I dug it, alot. Although I've only given it one listen - and that may have been off key due to a bad turntable belt - I did like the song arangements. Oasis is good stuff, man. Lyla is probably my favorite song off the album so far.
Bump. Manny, you should really, really buy (or download) the Oasis album. I just finished listening it, and I really liked it. There is the usual pop edge in the music, combined with straight rock & roll, power ballads, psychodelic touches, beatlesque melodies... all the elements that make Oasis great, plus a good and coherent production to support the songs.
Now I'm off! Gonna listen to the White Stripes "Get Behind Me Satan".
Jess already bought it on vinyl, there's no reason for me to buy it.
I used torrents, thanks.
Damn, missed those answers. And missed that you live (is this right?) with Jekka. Well, I miss a lot of things!![]()

lol. I spend most of my time with Jekka, so if she has the music I usually have access to it.
It is a corny screen name, but the day I chose I couldn't think of anything better.

Errr...I guess so... Do you wanna be a stand up comic?

Bump to pimp mine and for everyone else to join![]()
I had to make a new name cause they screwed up my old one for some reason. Anyway lately I've been listening to The Police alot. Man how underrated that band really was...and how much of a prick Sting was in that band.
