Jack was applauding and encouraging. The others in the upper decks were just mad that they had to go back and change their LOL posts on Spurstalk.
Because the tickets are expensive and people come to see a good basketball game.
And because the owner pays out a lot of money to the players, and when big contract players drop off so dramatically in the playoffs it pisses people off. Completely understandable.

All teams pay out a lot of money for players. The fans have nothing to do with that. LA is full of gots and spoiled sissy cuckolds that treat the game like a ing VIP section of a posh nightclub. They are there for a photo op.. to mingle.
The Spurs fans do not boo their team. Most teams' fans do not boo them off the ing court like they do in LA. Call it tough crowd, it's just a ty environment. It's why the NFL cannot ever take hold there.

i'd never boo the spurs, my team, that's just wrong. hey, here's an idea, cheer on your team regardless and take solace in the fact that your city actually has a team for you to cheer for. without that team, you're simply sitting on a couch somewhere cheering on some others hometown hero in some other city not named San Antonio. through thick and thin, til death do us part, the noise and always back your team.
i'm not delusional like in that aykroyd/waynes movie but i'll be damned if i ever cheer for another team in the nba. through mother in' thick and thin!
