    As reported this morning by Colin Cowherd on his radio show for ESPN, it appears that the recent struggles of Pau Gasol may be related to his recent breakup with his longtime girlfriend and fiance.

    Cowherd was citing an article on MediaTakeout.com, which stated that two weeks ago Gasol was dumped by his girlfriend, and that he blamed a teammate's wife.

    C'mon i knew Pau's break up had an effect, but not Kobe's wife..

    No wonder Kobe & Pau are not even on talking terms. Kobe ain't even mad at Pau. It's like he wants him to fail...

    Pau came to a crossroads. He could have dwelled on his breakup and blamed everybody but himself, including his teammates, or, he could have shrugged it off and focused on basketball, and posted huge numbers for all the haters to suck on.

    Looks like he chose the former.

    Well, all drama aside, this proves that the Lakers wouldn't of had the two championships before this, without Stern giving Pau to LA... proving Kobe is overrated... at least if you're saying he's top 15 all time.
