Spurs are rusty, and they haven't seen any defense yet. The Pistons are in a groove and have faced good defense in every series. The more battle-tested Pistons steal the first game much like they stole the first one in Miami. Billups owns Parker, posting him up to either score himself or kicking it out to Sheed or Tayshaun for a jumper, depending on how Timmy chooses to play it. Game is close but Spurs lose it at the free throw line down the stretch.
Pistons - 84
Spurs - 77
Either that or something completely different happens.![]()
Spurs 80
Pistons 84
I'll give them Game 1. They have momentum and Spurs have historically been rusty when given a long layoff.
Pistons 85
Spurs 83
Weren't you the one that said pistons in 7? Then came back and said spurs in 6?
Piston in a blowout that gets close when we put in Darko.
Spurs overcome a slow start. Pistons endure a major third quarter scoring drought. San Antonio kills 'em down the stretch.
San Antonio 94
